Early computer to solve logic problems, University of Nottingham.
Designed by Drs Alan Rose & Eric Foxley, funded by British Railways.
It solved problems in Mathematical Logic and in Railway Signalling.
Photo is of one of the "Universal Decision Elements".
Computer processed at 3 hertz and had 120 decision elements
but out-performed contemporary general-purpose computers (English electric Deuce at £40000 then).
