EMI Emidec 1100 - 1960s 5 of 37
Card
Crude transistor technology, about 10 transistors on the board.
Used sub-assemblies for ease of replacement.
EMI computers were later bought by ICT (International Computers & Tabulators) who became ICL.
This component from one of two machines at Boots the Chemists, Station Street, Nottingham

When their 2 EMIDECs were no longer required they were offered to us as useful components.
After we had taken them, it was found that one was only rented, not owned by Boots! Too late!
